Of course you know SilencerCo for their…. silencers. More recently however they've added to their product offerings by bringing out a line of threaded barrels, among them barrels for a slew of 9mm Glocks, the Sig Sauer P226, and the Hk VP9. Yes, they have a Glock 26 barrel–but what about that popular itty bitty single stack, the Glock 43? Well they've announced a barrel for those too, and it's not just any threaded barrel.

Yes, at $270 it does cost a tad more than their other offerings. While you may think that all it would take is some simple machine work, SilencerCo took the extra step and designed a custom piston that works in conjunction with the Glock 43 barrel to ensure what they call the “highest reliability.” No more tinkering with springs as some have had to do with a suppressed Glock 43.

Here's what they have to say about them:

We’ve expanded our popular line of threaded pistol barrels to include a model for the Glock® 43. We’ve designed a special piston that only works with this threaded barrel and included it with the barrel. Normal 1/2×28 pistons will not work with this barrel!
