Learn More While watching a video from HTC, Troy Industries & Velocity Systems that a reader forwarded us, we noticed a few things that we had not seen before. The first of those things is in the top image in this article. It appears to be a new stock system from Troy Industries. You can see something sticking out of the Troy CF rail on the muzzle end in this picture. Next thing we noticed was either a suppressor hidden in the handguard or a new flash hider/blast diffuser. We instantly headed to the web with no luck, so off to one of our friends who happens to have dealings with the company. You can check out the video below. Our friend wasn't able to give much help other than to suggest check out the booth. We didn't let that stop us; we continued to badger him and threaten to hook his “boys” up to a car battery if he didn't give us at least a crumb of info. What follows was these pictures and this text. New stock is called the Tomahawk PDW Stock, uses standard bolt assembly Three versions: 556:300 standard bolt 556/300 modified bolt (2″ shorter) 7.62 NATO The top of the butt of the stock has a section that rides on top of the buffer tube helping with cheek weld. So it appears there is a version of this PDW stock that takes a standard bolt carrier. The stock appears to have multiple stop positions allowing the user more adjustment. The last picture shows the flash hider on the last two guns on the right as well as the Tomahawk. We couldn't get any more information though so you will just have to head to their booth. You can find Troy Industries at booth number 20505. The NSSF SHOT Show (Shooting, Hunting, and Outdoor Trade Show) and Conference is an annual event held by the National Shooting Sports Foundation. Typically attended by thousands of people from all 50 states and over a hundred countries, it is (quite rightfully) described as the “…world's premier exposition of combined firearms, ammunition, law enforcement, cutlery, outdoor apparel, optics, and related products and services. Imagine the Worlds' Fair, but packed with everything from mini-guns and every breed of body armor, bows and boots; from eye pro and ear pro to optics and ordnance, socks to swords…you get the idea. If you'd like to see a sampling of the companies who will be showing at this year's SHOT, there's a live map right here, though it doesn't reflect the organizations set up elsewhere, in hotel suites, etc View imagery from our coverage of last year's SHOT Show right here. 2016 SHOT Show January 18 — Media on the Range (numerous shooting facilities in and around Las Vegas) January 19–22, 2016 Sands Expo and Convention Center Las Vegas, Nevada Hours: Tuesday, January 19 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 20 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Thursday, January 21 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Friday, January 22 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Explore RECOILweb:New Timney Triggers for Glock PistolsNew Semi-Auto & Pump Shotguns from Black Aces TacticalLessons from the Glock Operator CourseRECOILtv NRA 2017: Maxim Defense Buttstocks NEXT STEP: Download Your Free Target Pack from RECOILFor years, RECOIL magazine has treated its readers to a full-size (sometimes full color!) shooting target tucked into each big issue.
