INFORCE APL in FDE: Only from 2 Vets Arms

This is a ‘standard’ INFORCE APL weapon light. It has all of the functions and features that have made it so popular. It produces 200 lumens of white light (1.5 hour run time) with a good beam for both close range use and peripheral illumination. It features a bilateral, ambidextrous paddle switch system for right- or left-hand activation with a smooth transition from the weapon body to the switch. On/off switch operation and constant or momentary are both easily accessed and it will mount almost all universal and 1913 pic-rails. It’s easy to don or doff and it has a lockout mode to prevent accidental or negligent activations.

The only difference is, this light is in Flat Dark Earth, courtesy of 2 Vets Arms. That may seem to be a marginal distinction to some, but for those who love FDE it is going to be a big deal indeed. (remember, FDE is the new black, which was the new pink, at least until gray becomes the new FDE).

The formal release of the new light is scheduled for next Monday, the 8TH, however you will be able to begin preordering it this Friday on the 2 Vets Arms website. 2 Vets Arms will be the sole authorized distributor for the new light. It is entirely possible that a few of these lights are already available, so keep any eye on that website.

Unfamiliar with 2 Vets Arms? They are an aptly named veteran-owned small business (specifically a SDVOB/ service connected disabled veteran owned business) that builds superb rifles in a small town in Oklahoma. You may recall them for their Descendents of Sparta effort and the rifles they build for the Ranger Rendezvous. 2 Vets Arms offers a couple of different models and calibers right now, with a few more to come in just the next few weeks. The two owners are Dean, a combat infantryman who served as a sniper and sniper TL (Team Leader) and JFO (Joint Fires Observer) during OIF and the brains of the outfit, Amber (an Army Intelligence Analyst who also served during OIF).

Watch the 2 Vets Arms website for the FDE INFORCE APLs to go live, but definitely take a look at the rifles while you are there.

EDIT: It’s live. Purchase yours here.
