Learn More With all the new guns hitting the market this year, it's easy to overlook new products like the Blue Force Gear Lightweight MOLLEMinus belt. Sure, a new gun is cool, but being able to run that gun efficiently is way cooler. The new Lightweight MOLLEMinus belt is a fresh take on the common, two-belt system that most of the range/duty belts on the market currently use. Instead of using a straight belt like as been done since the beginning of time, Blue Force Gear has contoured the inner and outer belt to the shape of the human hip. Blue Force Gear says that the unique inner belt closure allows for up to +/- 2-inches of adjustment while retaining the same fit. Instead of sticking the hook side of the velcro on the inner belt to collect fuzzies and other trash, BFG stuck the loop side to the inner belt keeping the inner belt tidy. The inner belt will be avalible in both vented and non-vented versions depending on your preferences. While we are unsure of how well the inner belt will work as a standalone belt if you intend on carrying a gun IWB, it was mentioned that one could reverse it and use the inner belt on its own. In addition to the well thought out inner belt, the outer belt has no less thought put into it. Made from Blue Force Gear's UltraComp material, it has no-drip/no-melt properties as well as being pretty damned lightweight at 0.6 pounds. Even though the belt system comes in at just over half a pound, they are still stiffened to provide the support you expect from a duty style belt. Two versions will be made available, loadbearing and non-loadbearing. The loadbearing version, shown, has a 3,500-pound tensile strength and two safety line hardpoints built-in, as shown below. The non-load bearing model will come without the black hardpoints you see on the loadbearing version. The belt will hit the market sometime in the second quarter of 2020. According to BFG, the solid inner belt version should run you about $200. If you want all the bells and whistles, the vented inner belt with the load-bearing outer belt will set you back roughly $240.
