Learn More The Can Cannon is essentially an AR15 upper that uses blanks to launch soda cans down range. It can't fire live ammo. It's hard to imagine ways it could be used as an offensive device that couldn't be done with real firearms more effectively. Nonetheless BATF has (apparently) reclassified it as an NFA weapon depending on what type of lower it is mounted to.
