Learn More Written by Jacki Billings Accessory maker Bushnell brings new riflescopes to its optics lineup, announcing the Elite Tactical XRS II series. Designed for military, law enforcement, and competitive shooters, the XRS II delivers an ED Prime glass with a 4.5-30x zoom and wide 50mm objective lens. We're told the ED Prime Glass produces crisp colors and contrast, even when used in low-light conditions. Coated in Bushnell’s patented EXO Barrier, each lens is apparently more protected from dust, debris, and water. “Military, law enforcement and competitive shooters demand precision,” said Bryan Parrish, Elite Tactical Product Manager for Bushnell, in a press release. “The XRS II delivers it in spades. This optic is purpose-built for extreme ranges under the harshest conditions.” Purpose-built to efficiently acquire targets at more than 1,000 yards, the scope comes with a removable Throw Lever for quick magnification changes. In addition, the XRS II features a locking diopter the company says won’t budge. “The XRS II is precision incarnate,” concluded Parrish. “Making adjustments is as simple as it is accurate, with a locking windage turret and an elevation turret featuring the RevLimiter Zero Stop, which will not turn past zero. It offers 10 MILs of adjustment per revolution.” The XRS II boasts four models in three color schemes — grey, black, and flat dark earth. Reticle choices include the G3, Horus H59, and TRMR3 reticles. Prices on the new Elite Tactical XRS II optics start at $3,149.
