Learn More Utah-based Dead Air Armament has announced two new silencer accessories: Key-Mo Adapters. They'll be available to order from Dead Air distributors starting tomorrow, December 16th. So what exactly are Key-Mo adapters? They are specialized silencer inserts that allow one to mount silencers from a different manufacturer on your existing Dead Air Keymount Flash hiders or muzzle brakes. The first two options are the DA428 and DA429, which are made to mate to the SilencerCo Saker and SilencerCo Omega. For those that own silencers from both manufacturers, this will allow one the flexibility to use a single mount on a given rifle for both of them instead of solely relegating suppressor X to rifle Y. Here's what Dead Air has to say about them: If you're one of the many owners of a SilencerCo® Saker or Omega and have ever longed for a simpler and more reliable mount, your salvation is here. We've developed the Key-Mo™ to give your SilencerCo Omega and Saker a much needed upgrade. Simply unscrew your existing mount, and thread the Key-Mo on. Your silencer is now compatible with the Dead Air Key Brake and Flash Hider – giving you the best mounting system in the industry. One should bear in mind that the Key-Mo's are accessories only and not silencers. Furthermore, each Key-Mo is sold separately and not with a Dead Air muzzle device itself. Current MSRP for each Key-Mo is $249. You can visit Dead Air online here. More about Dead Air, in their own words: Dead Air Armament is all about bringing the best materials, the best designers, and the best manufacturing techniques to the suppressor market. Because it needs it. It was founded by Mike Pappas, and if that name rings a bell, it’s because Mike co-founded another silencer company back in 2008. Among others, Mike is also teamed up with silencer designer Todd Magee. Mike and Todd have set out to build the best suppressors on the market. There is no substitute for experience.
