Duane Dwyer of Dwyer Custom Goods has been doing some astonishing things lately — though really, when isn't he? Take a look at these.
Says Dwyer,
“This is my newest completed project. Its a machined piece out of a Ducati Panigale brake rotor, which of course is a Brembo Braking system. The brake wear lines are left exposed. The proud Italian Flag is milled and painted in with automotive lacquer and 3 coats of clear from House of Kolor. All are custom built pieces and serialized, 001 through 010 are already out on the market. Each Ducati piece is supplied with one of the polished and heat colored free floating rivets that held the rotor to the hub. There is more in the works as you read this!”
If you saw those and thought to yourself, “Self…that's a machined Brembo brake rotor off a Ducati Panigale!” then you were spot on. Dwyer has been channeling his inner Eöl again. Oh, and yes, this other one is indeed the first ever folder built from a Harley Davidson brake rotor. You might recognize the black, orange, and white colors. They've been around in that configuration for over a century, after all.
Did someone say Indian Motorcycles?
