KRISS Gen II Vector Video

Unless you have been living under a rock you have likely seen a KRISS Vector.  It's been in movies, games and even prominently featured in Issue 22 of RECOIL.  Its unique recoil system pushes back and down, taming muzzle rise and allowing for quicker followup shots on targets.  If you're lucky enough to be able to own a gun with a giggle switch on it the Vector system really comes into its own. Check out the KRISS Gen II Vector video wherein they talk about the changes with the Gen II.

One of the biggest changes is offering 9mm and 45acp as caliber choices.  With the pop of a few pins much like with a AR the receiver can be separated, allowing a new barrel group to be affixed.  This means that the MP5 might be given a run for its money.  The KRISS uses standard Glock magazines, meaning you can use normal capacity magazines or slap in one of the extended ones for some extra firepower — and that you can have an ammo source with commonality if the Glock is your usual sidearm.

They had this to say about the Gen II:

Experience one of the most innovative developments in modern firearms technology with the patented KRISS Vector Platform. At the heart of each Vector is the Super V Recoil Mitigation System. This unique operating system redirects energy down, and away from the shooter, which eliminates felt recoil and muzzle climb.

The KRISS Vector GEN II is the next evolution of the Vector platform, taking it from a firearm into a multi-caliber weapon system and is compatible with the ubiquitous Glock magazine. Changing between calibers can be done in seconds, without any tools. The KRISS Vector GEN II is more ergonomic with a redesigned trigger, a short throw ambidextrous safety lever, and a more comfortable pistol grip.

Head on over to the KRISS website and see all the new models that they have out. You can also check them out on Facebook and Instagram.
