NEW from Military Armament Corp (MAC) comes the MAC 1911-9 DS!

Designed by MAC in Knoxville, TN, and built by Tisas in Turkey, the MAC 1911-9 DS is a budget-priced 2011-style pistol with an impressive spec sheet and high compatibility with existing parts from Staccato/STI and for series 70 1911s.

RMR optic cut, M1913 rail, polymer grip module, 9mm double stack using STI pattern magazines (two mags made by Check-Mate are included with the MAC 1911-9 DS, 4.25” bull barrel, and an 11-degree target crown.

All at an incredibly low MSRP of $1,100.

The budget double-stack 1911 world hasn’t been as good to shooters as we would like, so it’s honestly exciting to see new offerings from reputable manufacturers entering the market. Tisas pistols have impressed us in the past with their 1911 Night Stalker and the PX-9, both proved to be incredible values. We have high hopes for the MAC 1911-9 DS!

We’ll update this article once we have a chance to test the 1911-9 DS ourselves.
