Learn More In a survey conducted at the 2017 Precision Rifle Series (PRS) Finale that was answered by 110 of the top competitors, MasterPiece Arms was reported to be the #1 most used chassis by PRS shooters at the year-end event held December 2017 in Camargo, Oklahoma. MasterPiece Arms makes several variations of their popular BA chassis system to include the MPA BA Competition Chassis that was named the Official Chassis of the 2017 PRS. The BA Competition chassis adds several features that are tailored to the competitor like additional holes on the forend for the barricade stop system and the “Ryan Castle” magwell cut. Mollie Tobias, PRS Director of Social Media and Sponsorships, said “The chassis forend includes the RAT (Rapid Adjustment Technology) System providing shooters with a variety of locations for bipods and other accessories and the Barricade Stop Technology has certainly changed the game on how shooters engage barricades and similar props. These features provide great stability and a significant advantage when “positional” shooting is required.” MPA chassis and scope mount being used at the 2017 PRS Finale. In the survey the breakdown, MPA showed lead with a total of 34 shooters, Manners coming in second with 23 shooters, and the rest of the field was about evenly split between J. Allen, McMillan, Accuracy International, XLR, and KRG. MPA BA SCOPE MOUNT MPA also took the top spot when shooters were surveyed what scope mount they used for the Season Finale shoot, narrowly beating out Spuhr for the lead. The MPA BA Bolt Action Mount is price attractively when compared to the ultra-high-end Spuhr mount and offers many of the same benefits in a slightly lighter weight package. The 6061 T6 aluminum mount features a slightly lower profile than other options on the market and has been designed to work with either in spec Picatinny rail bases as well as out of spec rails. Check out the MasterPiece Arms website for more information on their ever-growing lineup. MSRP for the Scope mount is $229.99 and the BA Chassis starts at $899 MSRP.
