Maxim Defense Launches Limited-Edition COVID-19 PDX

From the very beginning, we've been following Maxim Defense. They first showed up in our PDW stock buyer's guide back in 2017. It appears they handily won that marathon, but instead of simply sticking to stocks and braces, Maxim Defense jumped fully into the gun game with the Maxim Defense PDX in conjunction with Dr. Phil Dater.

This micro carbine available in 5.56, 300blk, and 7.62×39 (huzzah), and was on the cover of RECOIL #41 and also received the highest honors at SHOT Show 2019 with the Best of Show award.

The folks at Maxim Defense teamed up with John's Sport Center in Pittsburg, Kansas to make a custom-Cerakoted and engraved COVID-19 Maxim Defense PDX.

Hilariously bundled in the box is also a pair of nitrile gloves, an N95 mask, some caution tape, and a short M-RAX rail. We added the Atibal SLR-1 and Surefire XH-35 because frankly, firearms look strange naked.

There will only be 100 COVID-19 Maxim Defense PDX custom-COVID-coated and engraved carbines, ever.
