Learn More Pennsylvania's Mission First Tactical has announced the release of what they're calling the “lightest butt stock of it's kind ever produced.” The patent pendingBattlelink Minimalist Stock is, according to their description, “based upon input from operators around the world.” The Battlelink Minimalist Stock (BMS) was developed to minimize weight, thus reducing fatigue (it is 5.8 oz.) and improve accuracy, comfort and ease of use. A slide-on accessory replacement for any original collapsing butt stock, the BMS is built of DuPont Military Plastic Division polyamide. It features an ambidextrous QD sling mount point, an “enhanced” cheek weld and an angled, non-slip rubberized buttpad that Mission First Tactical advises will allow for faster weapon presentation even in armor. Like other stocks in the Battlelink series, the BMS can be modified or accessorized by utilizing MFT custom accessory mounts. Says Mission First Tactical, “Holding true to the basics while adding functionality was our goal…we saw the need to make a stock that offers all the functional requirements while keeping the weight under 6 ounces.” The BMS is made in the U.S.A. and retails for $59.99.
