If you've been around guns for a little while, you've probably heard of the NFA. But, what does NFA really stand for? No Fun Allowed? No F***ing Around? Since it regulates silencers, it can't be Noise Free America. It's actually the National Firearms Act, and in addition to silencers, it tightly regulates machine guns, short-barreled rifles and shotguns, so-called destructive devices, and a whole host of other types of firearms.
