Featured Raven’s new Morrigan holster Recoil Staff November 21, 2015 Join the Conversation Raven Concealment Systems has announced the release of the Morrigan, a concealment holster named for Mór Ríoghain, the Irish goddess of war and strife. They tell us the Morrigan is a concealment holster that has been designed specifically for combatants who prefer inside the waistband carry, with an “innovative retention system” (think tourniquets, and better than a screw) that minimizes bulk while allowing for precise and repeatable retention adjustments and a fully ambidextrous design. The new holster will be available on Black Friday. This of course makes us wonder what they have planned for Small Business Saturday, Cyber Money and As-Yet-Unnamed-Tuesday. The Morrigan is available for the following Glock and S&W pistols: G19, G17, G42, G42, M&P, M&P Compact, M&P Shield. It will retail for $49.99, the lowest priced RCS holster offering to date. Says John “Chappy” Chapman (CEO of Raven Concealment Systems), “Historically, RCS is known for extremely modular, multi-functional designs. With the Morrigan our goal was to create a much simpler design that was very application-specific. The Morrigan is designed to have a small, streamlined profile, and serve optimally for those who carry on or behind the hip, inside the waistband. It does this remarkably well, without requiring a bunch of extra parts and time spent assembling it.” Scott Wilson, RCS Director of Sales, continues, “We wanted to make a solution for the daily-carry market that was highly-functional, but still fit within the budgets of departments and families who need top-quality concealment holsters. The Morrigan embodies all the quality and innovative design you expect from Raven, just simplified.” The Morrigan has adjustable cant retention, and will come ready for use right out of the box (you'll have to attach the soft loops). It is described as “…contoured for comfort for both right- and left-handed shooters.” Learn more about Raven Concealment Systems online here, on Facebook here or on Instagram here (@ravenconcealment).
