We ventured out to SIG SAUER for some trigger time with their MCX Virtus, which is the second-generation of the MCX. Changes include a tapered lug, O-ring extractor, and Matchlite Duo two-stage trigger, among other improvements. If you're wondering if parts are backwards compatible with Gen 1, we'll walk you through some of the components that are interchangeable. SIG SAUER also claims the MCX Virtus has a 20,000-round service life. If you'd like to see us see if it holds up to the assertion, comment below or on our social account. We're up for the challenge.
