Featured Saturday Night Gun Porn: Hillbilly .223 Urban Finishes David Reeder January 5, 2014 Join the Conversation At RECOIL, we review every product fairly and without bias. Learn More Way back in the Ozarks near Eureka Springs is the small shop of Duracoat artist Boyd Lemons – his family-owned business is Hillbilly .223 Urban Finishes. Boyd puts hand painted finishes on everything from his neighbor Nighthawk Custom‘s 1911s to rifles and tomahawks and everything in between (his iPhone covers have been a huge hit, funny enough). Tonight being Saturday night however, we're going to look at what he does to knives (and maybe some other edged implements). So, remember, though there are a preponderance of skull-based designs on here, that's because lots of his customers order skulls. His camouflage work is really nice. In fact, Boyd has a large number of different patterns and can paint just about anything – one of my friends is actually going over there this Spring to have his Harley painted to match his pistol – true story. Note that he's an NFA and SOT licensed dealer, so you can ship him a firearm if need be. Items currently on sale from his shop are mostly listed here. You can find Hillbilly223 on line here, on Facebook here or read some “local news” about him here.
