Smith Optics Elite has a new forward thinking solution for eye protection that's used in conjunction with over the ear hearing protection. The new Aegis ARC Echo is unlike the majority of eye pro available because of its ultra thin flexible stainless steel metal frame. How thin, 0.6mm thin. This minimal amount of material means that shooters who use earmuffs for hearing protecting won't have to worry about their eye pro creating a gap that reduces effectiveness of their earmuffs.
The flexible frame also allows user to bend and mold the temple area for a custom fit, and are available in Black, Tan, or Multicam. The lens meets US Mil Spec MIL-PRF-31013 and ANSI Z87.1 standards. Like the rest of Smith Optics Elite Tactical Core Eyeshield line, the Aegis ARC Echo will be available in various kits so you can choose what type of lenses you want. Also the frames will be available separately and are compatible with any of the Aegis lenses. MSRP for the kits will range between $90 and $115, and will be available mid-April 2012.

I had to send mine back due to the rubber sleeves that cover the temple arms becoming deformed and slipping off. I got the glasses back within two weeks but it's happening again. Obviously there is a problem with the rubber Smith is using they are yet to correct.
