Guns Springfield XD-E Langdon Tactical Edition Pistol Announced Patrick Roberts August 30, 2019 Join the Conversation It isn't often that a product announcement catches me off guard, but that is exactly what happened when the Springfield XD-E Langdon Tactical Edition was announced. Renowned Beretta nerd, Ernest Langdon, stepped out of his comfort zone and looked beyond the Beretta line for the fifth firearm to get Ernest's special sauce. He says that because the Springfield XD-E is the only viable single stack DA/SA pistol on the market, it was the only obvious choice. The base Springfield XD-E is outfitted in a very similar fashion to the PX4 Carry and PX4 Compact Carry with a Sniper Gray Cerikoted slide, LTT Trigger Job, and a lower profile hammer.
