Learn More When it comes to EDC pants, companies like Vertx are faced with an ever-shifting bullseye. On the surface, we are concerned with utility, while underneath we make our decisions based on fashion. These two layers are then subject to two different standards that do not always move in the same direction. Cue Grey Man debate. Vertx EDC pants are firm in their identity, however. Hidden pockets have long replaced cargoes, and the small utilities make the difference in the long run. Where some of the features are more subtle, such as adding a 2% spandex to the Men's Delta Stretch 2.1, others, like the presence of functional pockets on the Women's line can have a larger impact on choosing to go with Vertx for more than range pants. Now that athleisure and hiking-centric clothing are no longer out of the normal, the clothing we choose will often stand out in the small details, which should require a trained eye to pick up on.
