Tenzing has been innovating their hunting pack line for nearly three years now. They are trying to provide the lightest and most durable options on the market for those pursuing big game. The new Tenzing CF Legend is a Hybrid Frame Pack combing their Award-Winning TZ 2200 Day Pack with a 24″ carbon fiber suspension frame.
The TZ 2220 Day Pack, which you can view in the video below, will stand alone for simple tasks and trail hikes where moderate storage is needed. It includes a 2-Liter Hydration Bladder, while the carbon fiber suspension frame can be utilized in conjunction with large hauls. The frame on its own weighs 4.5 pounds with adjustable pre-arched padded shoulder straps and waist belt system.
Chief Tenzing Engineer and Tenzing Founder , Jay Robert says,
“We tested the CF Legend’s suspension frame to 400-pounds. It will carry whatever you can load it with… your legs will give out before this pack will.”
When utilized with its full configuration, the TZ CF Legend comes in at 6 pounds and 14 ounces. A fold out rain cover on the 2220 pack keeps your gear dry. Hip pockets on the belt provide additional storage and easy access access to tools or food when on the go. These can be removed as well. A fold out boot allows you to carry your hunting weapon of choice. Twelve separate pockets and compartments provide for organization, while compression straps are integrated to secure you gear or any other load as necessary. The Tenzing TZ CF Legend Pack is now available for direct order online.
