The Multitasker NANO Tool Lives Up To Its Name

Published by

Having dropped an Aimpoint turret cap in the mud more than once, Multitasker‘s latest creation, the NANO, got our attention. The tiny tool is about the shape of a thumbnail and features a pin spanner for Aimpoint T1/T2 sights and a broad, flathead screwdriver tip on the opposing end for other sights. There's a lanyard hole in the middle, so the Multitasker NANO rides on a keychain or bit of 550-cord and is always on hand for a quick zero adjustment.

In addition to the dedicated Aimpoint T1/T2 pins on one end, the NANO's flat end is compatible with a other carbine optics, including the Aimpoint M68 CCO, Trijicon ACOG, Eotech EXPS-3 as well as the Trijicon RMR and aiming lasers such as the PEQ-15 and MAWL from B.E. Meyers & Co.

“The NANO is a staple in my firing line equipment,” says Matt Jacques, from Victory First LLC. “We all have dropped and either temporarily or permanently lost a windage/elevation cap from an Aimpoint optic. The Multitasker NANO can be attached several ways to ensure it is always with you when you need it. The adjustment direction indicator with corresponding arrow is a handy reminder on the range. I have had an early preproduction version on my keyring, and another one on my range timer lanyard and they are constantly getting used. I am always prepared with the NANO.”

Despite its minuscule size, the Multitasker NANO offers multiple secure carry options. The built-in lanyard hole can be used with a keychain and is compatible with 550 paracord. The winglets on each side of the NANO act as a dovetail, allowing it to dock into the SpaceFrame storage slot found in the upcoming Gen3 MagPod. The raised disc featuring directional markings for the Aimpoint T1/T2 doubles as an index point for docking/undocking the NANO from the Gen3 MagPod.
