xXx: The Return of Xander Cage

“Guns, girls, global domination…”

That's a compelling combination and one used to described the actions of Xander Cage, hero of the xXx movies.

The latest installment of the series is called, appropriately enough The Return of Xander Cage. Vin Diesel stars, reprising his role as the pseudo anti-hero Xander Cage, with Samuel L. Jackson as Samuel L. Jackson playing a Samuel L. Jackson-like government agent, and a number of beautiful women and talented athletes.

In this, the third Triple X film, former outlaw extreme athlete turned ~~secret agent~~ ~~special operations guy~~ government operative Xander Cage returns from seclusion (or death, we're not sure yet) to do battle with Xiang, a new badass archvillain. We're don't know what happened Ice Cube's character Darius Stone since the last flick, but it probably doesn't matter much.

There's a conspiracy, lots of stunts and action, jungle skiing, M4s that sound like shotguns racking, explosions, ~~Articuno Pokémon~~, fast cars, guns, scantily clad women…pretty much everything you might like in a brainless but intense action movie.

The movie, which has been filming in Canada, the Dominican Republic and the Philippines, is due out in January of 2017.
