UF Pro Releases Striker HT Combat Pants

UF Pro, headquartered in Slovenia, is known for making high quality anatomic cut tactical garments like the P-40 pant and Striker XT combat shirt (they explain their perspective on that right here). Apparently their new Striker HT pant is constructed with a venting system, theoretically making it ideal for hot and humid weather work (see below). The Striker HT Air Flow System incorporates mesh lined openings in the groin and opening knee protector pockets to generate a cooling flow of air as you move.

The pant also comes with UF Pro's layered knee protection (consisting of a Cordura reinforced knee pad pocket stacked with flexible penetration resistant pad and shock absorbing pads). The pant is made of 67/33 polyester-cotton blend (solid color) or 50/50 nylon-cotton blend (camo) and is equipped with a total of 14 pockets (side, lower leg, upper thigh/gear, outside thigh/knife or light, etc.). A vertical zipper and draw cords make the lower leg of the pant adjustable. Like the garment that preceded it, the Striker HT is built with Schoeller dynamic stretch material, which allows extraordinary freedom and range of movement (good for field work and ninja attacks both). They are also reinforced at the knees and instep with Cordura.

At nearly $200, the Striker HT won't be a casual buy for the average user. If they're anything like their predecessor, though, they're cleverly designed, will take a beating and are damned comfortable. We're confident people who legitimately need them (or who just don't mind spending the money) will find the price justified.

We haven't yet had the chance to wear the Striker HT pant, but some of our guys have worn other UF Pro (such as P-40 pants and UF Pro's snivel kit) and report that the brand produces good gear. No word yet on a US dealer; we'll ask. In the meantime you'll have to order them online here. More information on the Striker HT right here.

UF Pro Striker HT Combat Pants currently come in Coyote Brown, PenCott Badlands and MultiCam.

UF Pro is on Facebook here, on Google + here, on Instagram here, on Pinterest here and they have a YouTube channel right here.
