Predictions On The Glock 44 & 3 Other Upcoming Glocks

In just a few hours, Glock will reveal a new pistol to the world that I believe will be the Glock 44, a .22lr pistol based on the factory Glock Simunitions pistols.

I received a tip from a source I trust quite a lot that between now and SHOT Show 2020, we may see as many as 4 new Glocks added, a couple of them are a bit oddball.

Glock 44 .22 Pistol?

I wrote up a post about on Firearm Rack about what I think the Glock will introduce as the Glock 44. Now the post was based on a patent that Glock had filed back in 2012 for their Glock 17T & 19T sim pistols, but the patent mentions the use of the technology for .22lr as well as UTM rounds.

Couple that with a sticker that I believe to be genuine with a giant “Plink44” in the center, we feel that the Glock 44 is almost certainly going to be a .22 pistol made by Glock and not an outside source.

Glock 49 10mm?

There was also a post that surfaced on the Dong's Guns Instagram page (you can find the post linked here)

Sadly we don't have any information other than the tip we received and the post on Dong's Guns. From what I can tell the photo was taken from the Lipsey's website but I was unable to locate the listing through the customer-facing side of the website. It may only be visible to dealers.

Gen 5 Glock .40 S&W

I have no information about the .40 S&W guns other than they are in the country and poised to launch sometime between now and SHOT.

Glock 46 9mm

Glock has been trying to import the Glock 46 for a while but the report I received is that they have been pushing hard on it to make the SHOT 2020 deadline.
